Hello everyone! I am the most recent addition to the Oshkosh Tattoo and Goodgirl Piercing family. I got my start at Steve's Tattoo (Oshkosh) in the spring of 2005. It was there that I developed my huge ego, mad tattooing skills and also a love for tuna. I LOVE what I do! Tattooing and painting are my two passions and my family and friends are my life.
When I was invited to join this wonderful family, I literally (and I do mean literally) jumped at the chance to work with these incredibly talented people!
I have loved art my entire life, ever since I could hold a paintbrush, in fact. My dad was also an artist and we would draw and paint together when I was very young. I continued this passion all through college and graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art in 2001. I really didn't like tuna back then.
My favorite artists include: My dad (Daniel Berendt), Edward Mucha, Don Nedobeck, Uncle Allan (tattoo artist), David Catrow, Peter de Seve, and Norman Rockwell. I know my dad likes tuna, but am not sure about these other artists.
I enjoy tattooing just about everything. I know my strengths and I know my weaknesses, so if I think someone else would do a better job than me I will pass that tattoo along to one of our other accomplished staff members... just sayin'.
I have my own style in art as well as in my taste for tuna. My favorite lunch is a foot long tuna sub on italian herb and cheese bread, no cheese, with jalapenos, black olives and sometimes a LITTLE extra mayo if the tuna mixture looks a little dry, from Subway. Oh, I almost forgot! I love walking barefoot on the beach, camping, and spending quiet evenings at home with my extremely supportive husband, and our genius daughter, reading, crocheting, or watching the Deadliest Catch, Ghost Hunters, and my new favorite Chasing Mummies.. also barefoot. By then I'm all tuna-ed out so I'll eat beef or chicken.
