I was born in So Cal but was raised in Hawaii. Although Hawaii is a great place to vacation, it just wasn't a place to live.

My mom was a huge factor in my love for art. She noticed my artistic abilities at a young age. While other kids were drawing planes, I would draw complete air bases with jets in the middle of a dog fight. My mom would encourage me to use my imagination and push the boundaries. I remember being in school and as my friends were coloring in their fish with one or two colors, I was making my fish look like stained glass to see what colors went together and to experiment with art to see what was possible.

My first tattoo was a stick and poke heart on my hand. I remember my mom seeing it for the first time, smacking me upside the head and telling me I was a dumb ass.

When I'm not tattooing, I'm usually at home. I have four kids at home that have a great talent for consuming all of my time and money. On the rare occassion I do get some free time, I like to work on water color paintings or ride motorcycles.
